Two and a half years ago, I got a devastating finding on a CT scan I wasn't expecting at all: peritoneal carcinomatosis.
What followed was a grueling 18-hour "mother of all surgeries" with an expected 9-month recovery.
Throughout it all, Ash and I found ourselves using the very tools I work with many of my clients -- systems thinking, strategy, and making tough decisions.
